Commercial Law Services
Buying a business
You may be buying an existing business, buying the assets of the business, such as leasehold premises, stock, goodwill, fixtures and fittings etc, or you may be buying all the shares in an existing company in order to take over its business. Whichever it is we can help and support you through the legal process to get where you want to be. We will always work with your Accountant and your Bank at all times and favour a team approach.
Expanding
On the other hand your business may have expanded and someone else wants to buy you out. Again, we will be there with your Accountant to guide and support you in all aspects of the process.
New leases
You may have outgrown your present business premises and are taking on a lease for new premises. A new lease of bigger premises can be a minefield and we can help to guide you through that minefield in order to achieve a fair lease from your landlord. Of course, you may be buying a freehold commercial property and we can also help you, both with finance, and the commercial conveyancing.
Agreements
You may have thought a Shareholder Agreement was not necessary when you first started your business but it has now become essential as your business has grown. We can set this up for you. If you are a partnership and are taking in new partners we can set up a new Partnership Agreement or amend and existing agreement.
General advice
We also deal with General Company Law advice; including the procedure for purchase of company own shares and removal of troublesome directors by shareholders.
If you require advice regarding the legal issues you are faced with in running your business, you can complete our enquiry form to see if we can help and we will advise you via e-mail within 24 hours of receipt.
